The key to a good mystery, in my opinion, is narrative constraint. When the rules of a mystery - what the investigator can and cannot do, who and what was where and when - are laid out clearly for the audience, working within those limitations to puzzle out the case a la any book by Agatha Christie, the who-dun-it queen becomes irresistible. Mexi Gremillion 18 hours ago I'm quite familiar of a system like this as I played RO Ragnarok Online quite a bit and they had a sort of guild exp and guild leveling system. This looks very interesting and is far more complex from that game's guild leveling system obviously.

The video linked at the bottom of the page showed that the research times can be shortened by spending additional resources on an upgrade in progress, I don't think it's mentioned on the page as of yet. Anyone know if it can be sped up multiple times, or how the cost of these speed boosts is determined? The list of upgrades includes the option to upgrade the "level" of category. From the screenshot, it appears that having a certain level is a prerequisite for purchasing certain upgrades.

Is that mechanism confirmed? Should this point be clarified somewhere within the article? For example, having a narrow column in the table showing the required level for each upgrade. In BWE2 the research levels were gone but the level 1 research, except for Art of War which had now just a level 2 research and no level 1. To be kept an eye on at BWE3. Did anyone else check this and can maybe confirm if it was either 3 or 5 times the price? Symphy , 14 June UTC. I present the following scenario that happened to me in the last BWE.

At the end of the first BWE i joined a guild in the world Maguuma. But i was still a member of my first guild which had the guild leader an majority of the members still in Maguuma. I left the guild to join another actually left not 'not represent' so i did not have time to check, but does anyone know how the rewards will work with members in different worlds? Will the rewards leech through into each world, or will different worlds need to make accumulate influence and research dunno if this is possible without a guild leader?

Reset indent In all beta weekends, guild influence and upgrades were gained and unlocked on a per world basis, with the exception of the emblem, which was shared across all worlds access to the editor was not.

I don't see why they're run all beta weekends like that, and then change it for launch. The article should at least mention that it worked that way previously and may or may not do so on launch. The game only shows you the next-higher upgrade from the level you're currently at, so someone would have to get their guild up to level 4 in something to see it, and I don't think there's enough time in the BWEs to get that far.

Given the increasing times for levels , level 4 will probably take 1 week, so unless some guild has a massive pool of influence to throw at cutting the time down, it just ain't possible. Anyway, since there aren't any level 5 upgrades in those categories, it seems kinda pointless for there to be a Research Level 5 upgrade. I'm just gonna leave them off the tables for now, since we don't know how much they cost or how long they take.

They'll be easy to add back later. I know the buff that most of the banners give for example in the Economy line last for 30 minutes; however, has anyone recorded how long the actual banner lasts? I assume it has to disappear at some point, otherwise guilds would end up putting them everywhere, but I can't find any reference as to when they will disappear.

If you cancel an upgrade that is currently being researched, do you get the influence refunded? Perhaps the main article could clarify this? I recently queued an upgrade, accidentally clicked the button to reduce the build time, and then canceled the research. I was left with less than my original influence. However, it seemed that what I was refunded was the cost to increase the build time, not the original cost of the research itself or the total cost. I may have misinterpreted what happened, so more testing will be needed to confirm what, precisely, it refunds.

I am pretty sure that you do not get 20 influence for 2 members doing 1 event or storyline at the same time. I cannot verify storyline, but events have not been giving my guild 20 influence. The page says "2 individual guild members completing an event or part of a personal storyline.

The per-player influence gained increases substantially with each new participating guild member. On the influence page it says "[you get influence] for two guild members completing an event or part of a personal storyline at the same time. I know it's probably not an easy thing to describe concisely, but I feel it can still be done. Perhaps something like "[you get influence] for two guild members completing an event or a single personal storyline event at the same time.

A personal storyline event is defined as beginning the next step in your personal storyline and completing that instance. Something like that paints a picture that more people will be able to relate to. Can anyone explain what the Guild Banquet actually does? I think we should build pages for each Guild Upgrade to explain them in more detail. Repeating what the game says about them is fine but it doesn't clearly state what the real function is of the upgrades.
