Why does delta goodrem walk out on the voice
Choking up and close to tears, Guy Sebastian told them: "As you were about to sing, I could hear you guys sobbing and then you have to sing a song which is why Because it's still a wonderful world. It was a sentiment echoed by Boy George who added: "It's a reminder that there's more love in the world than there is hate and we should always remember that.
It was too much for Delta Goodrem who left the stage in tears. But when it came time for Delta to make a choice between the competitors after such a stirring moment, it was all too much. I'm sorry, I'm trying to find my words," she said, before getting up and leaving the stage in order to compose herself. Backstage, producers trying to console the songstress as she cried "I just feel really… I feel really unwell.
I'm just not sure how to kind of have that conversation. Delta added: "I just don't want to upset any of them, you know? After being comforted by The Voice producers, Delta eventually returned to stage where she made the heart-wretching decision to choose Daniel over the Koi Boys.
My mum and sister were even asked to gape at a photo of Goodrem on the wall. The producers must have told me ten times backstage to make sure I fawn over Goodrem when I talk to her, even if no chairs spin.
Then, it came time for my blind audition. I was on the last day of auditions so the teams were almost full. Technically, I thought it was one of my best. Alas, none of the judges turned their chairs.
I gauged the reaction of the coaches after I had finished. They were all pleasant but their interactions were quite dull, without the usual theatrics you see on television. Boy George gave me some feedback, saying he really liked the end of my performance. Guy Sebastian said he liked my fight, and Kelly Rowland asked if I enjoyed being on stage. I assume that Goodrem saw the disappointment in my eyes. It was pretty disheartening to give my all to a performance and come away with nothing.
As I was about to walk offstage, Goodrem decided to come backstage with me. When the cameras stopped rolling, she greeted my mum and my sister before having another chat with me. She encouraged me to continue singing and said she wished she had turned her chair. She made sure I was alright, before she returned to the stage. I never anticipated the impact that a single blind audition could have on my confidence. He does love music. The talent is actually incredible. How is it going to top last year? And, it really blew my mind to come back and hear all these incredible big voices, and all these interesting and amazing stories. This year it actually happens across the board. All of us were so passionate, so honest with each other, [about] how we felt. We all felt at ease, and a shift with each other.
The Voice judges are all going to butt heads this season. The coolest part is just knowing how excited I was about it. I love the people of Australia.
