Why do people hate rey mysterio

While Mysterio has done some good in-ring work since coming back, it is tough to see where the veteran fits in at this point. Mysterio still has solid wrestling ability, is over with the crowd and can move a ton of merchandise, but he has reached a time in his career where he is near the end of the line. That means that he shouldn't be involved in the world title scene, but he also wouldn't have anything to gain by winning a mid-card title either.

My immediate thought when Mysterio came back was that he would be part of a multiple-person feud for the World Heavyweight Championship, but the creative team decided to pit him against the Intercontinental Champion, The Miz, instead. I suppose that could work if The Miz goes over at SummerSlam, but I'm not sure that Mysterio is resigned to being a guy who just puts everyone over.

If you go the other route and have him beat all of the mid-card heels, though, then you're not doing them any favors either. Then along comes Rey, beats the monster and steals all the accumulation of "rub" Rey can't transfer "rub" back up the food chain. When someone beats Rey, it's expected because he's the tiny little luchadore. Nobody gets a RUB from beating Rey.

You can't let the boys just go out and tear the house down every match because it has major financial repercussions when they get injured. So they work a stripped down, safe as they can style for weekly TV. Why do people hate Rey Mysterio Jr? You think you Star Wars fans gotta a monopoly on arguing about characters named Rey Here, hold my beer Now I wish I knew about wrestling.

VibrantFox UTC 3. Shanny8 UTC 6. April 24, — pm. Lucha Underground. Gone too soon, my baby. April 25, — pm. Not that same guy. Terry Funk, the Dudley Brothers, Misterio, everyone.

Those were some bleary Monday mornings. Became a huge fan of him as a result of that. I would always win the Tag Titles with him and Kevin Nash. Great times with a great game! It is unreal. I also remember being a kid and wanting to order some of the gear in the back of the booklet so badly.

For people who watch wrestling on a regular basis: can someone explain what the deal is with Lesnar? He is a great seller and excellent at putting people over. He can have good matches. People dislike him because he is a part-timer who has held titles for what feels like forever,. He is not on any of the weekly shows or really involved in storylines, and often just squashes opponents in uncompetitive matches. The Alberto Del Rio bandwagon is getting pretty full. The man won the Royal Rumble and is now barely in a storyline with Big Show.

People are wondering where Del Rio's title shot is and when he will become a champion in WWE, but it is only a matter of time. How can you not absolute hate R-Truth now, especially when he is a heel now. He does such a great job. His promos are so unexpected and crazy that it is hard not to laugh at them. The truth is that, while I can't see R-Truth being a champion or even a top heel on Raw, he is doing some of the best work of his career right now.

He won't beat John Cena for the title, but it sure is fun for him to be in this mood. The two most hated words on Monday nights are "Excuse Me. At one point, Vickie got booed so feverishly that she could barely get through a sentence. I was not on board with keeping her around at first, but she really has grown on me.

I almost have a problem viewing WWE without her. Question: What is worse than John Cena to some people? Not only does Cena draw mixed emotions from crowds no matter where he goes, but Cena as a champion seems to kick it all up a few notches.

Cena constantly gets a rise out of anyone, be it a positive or negative one. No other in-ring competitor can get that emotion from anyone. It must be a running joke for the Raw writing staff at this point. Will the identity ever be announced?
