When do Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask get together? When I first heard this questions I thought how simple it would be to answer but then once I started thinking about all of the hypnosis, mind control, time reversing and amnesia in the Sailor Moon anime I realised that I would have to do a bit of research to find the answer. While they definitely begin to accept their feelings for each other after their memories are returned in A Crystal Clear Destiny in the first season of the anime, before either of them can really do anything, Tuxedo Mask is kidnapped and brainwashed by Queen Beryl.

Sailor Moon pretty much spends the rest of the season trying to save Tuxedo Mask but even in the season finale, Day of Destiny after the battle they don't get a chance to begin their relationship as time has been rewound and they both have lost their memories of the entire season's events and of each other.

Eventually in Sailor Moon R their memories are returned and in the climax of the Doom Tree arc, the episode Treed Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask profess their love for each other and as the episode ends they appear to finally be together as boyfriend and girlfriend. Tuxedo Mask gives Sailor Moon more strength, and she seals Metalia away. Luna asks Usagi to come the moon, so Mamoru and Usagi combine their power to travel there.

Usagi is given a new brooch that will give her more power. She transforms and uses "Moon Healing Escalation" to turn the Earth completely back to normal.

After school, Usagi meets with Mamoru. She gives him back his pocket watch, which she had restored. The two kiss, when some child falls from the sky and knocks Usagi away.

She is enraged and wants to know who that is clinging onto her Mamo-chan. After scaring them with a toy gun and demanding for the Legendary Silver Crystal, the child, nicknamed Chibiusa, runs away.

Chibiusa brainwashes Usagi's family and stays at their house. Over the course of the arc, Usagi gets into fights with Mamoru over Chibiusa, and Usagi finds herself fighting for Mamoru's attention. Eventually Usagi and Mamoru come to an understanding and make up. Chibiusa takes Usagi and Mamoru to the 30th century, where they learn that Chibiusa is the couple's future child. Despite that, Usagi still finds herself jealous of Chibiusa and thinks that she is more important to Mamoru than herself.

After Chibiusa goes missing, they return to the future to look for her. While captured, Usagi becomes upset by the fact that she was just kissed by someone other than Mamoru, and reflects on the way she treated him just before they were separated. Endymion attacks Sailor Moon with the rod they created by both their powers, and she is shocked.

Endymion grabs the brooch of Sailor Moon's bow, but then her joyful spirit dances around him for a moment, causing him to stop blankly. Tuxedo Mask turns back to normal and he and Sailor Moon combine their powers with the rod to kill Prince Demande. Then Sailor Moon attacks Death Phantom and seems to disappear. Tuxedo Mask suddenly teleports to Sailor Moon's location. Tuxedo Mask gives Sailor Moon an encouraging speech, and she tells him she can actually only activate the Legendary Silver Crystal in the presence of his power.

The two kiss and create an extrodinary power, that helps Sailor Moon to defeat Death Phantom. After the lot has been resolved, Chibiusa returns to the 30th century, and Usagi and Mamoru sit on the park bench and talk about the adventures they just had. The two kiss once more as the arc ends. It happens to be a rare total solar eclipse that day, so the three watch it together.

Afterards, they realize it's much to crowded to send Chibiusa back, so they look around Juban for a bit. Chibiusa and Usagi coerce Mamoru into buying them kaleidescopes, and then letting them stay overnight at his place.

While they're sleeping, Usagi and Mamoru both have a dream of Chibiusa playing with a pegasus. Mamoru then gets a pain in his chest, and Usagi worridley asks if he's in pain. Mamoru tries to pretend its nothing serious, but Usagi is concerned. Later, Mamoru gets sick and collapses, and while Usagi and Chibiusa and trying to help him, they are hit by an enemy's attack and their body proportions switch.

Usagi and Mamoru later get time along in his room, which Usagi is excited about, but it's rather awkward because of Usagi's size. Usagi cuddles with Mamoru, but he feels like he's looking at Chibiusa. Mamoru decides he's going to get more rest, and Usagi kisses him before falling asleep next to him. Time passes and Usagi visits Mamoru to give him some bento, drinks and medicine.

Mamoru asks Usagi to home, saying he was just going to go back to sleep. Usagi apologizes for bargining in, hiding her hurt and leaves. The truth is that Mamoru doesn't want Usagi to find out he's coughing up black blood. After a call from Helios, Usagi returns to Mamoru and has to destroy the Lemures surrounding him.

She then discovers the black blood, and Helios tells them all about Mamoru's illness, which is, in fact a curse. Mamoru is fearful that it might spread to Usagi if she stays around him, but Usagi says that his pain is her pain, and she'll find a way to heal him.

The arc opens with Usagi and Mamoru kissing outside during a meteor shower. Usagi wishes that Mamoru will stay by her side forever.

The next day after school, Usagi goes to the airport to see Mamoru off, who is going to America to study. Usagi can't help but cry, and apologies for not smiling. Mamoru promises to write and call her while he's gone, and even visit once in a while.

Mamoru gives Usagi a small box. Inside is a ring with a heart-shaped feature stone. Mamoru puts it on her left ring finger, and the two kiss. Then, there is a great blast of light from Mamoru's chest, and he starts to dissolve. His Golden crystal appears and transforms into a triangular crystal, and he completely dissappears. A mysterious woman appears and steals the crystal, and Usagi faints.

The next morning, Minako asks how it went with Mamoru, and the others are shocked at seeing her sport a ring. Usagi responds with melancholy that everything went fine. Usagi has a happy dream of her and Mamoru, but it ends with Mamoru's hand melting in hers. She checks her mailbox, and is bothered that Mamoru hasn't called or sent her anything yet. The next day, however, she recieves airmail that is a just a picture of an orange sunset. She's a little upset that he didn't write anything but she's still happy.

There, an evil version of Tuxedo Mask fights againts her. One day, the prince visited the princess to warn her of the Earth's plans to go to war with the Moon. Later, the Earth people attacked the Moon. Endymion tried to protect Serenity, but both were killed. At first they don't get along well at all, and often bicker with each other, sometimes downright insulting each other.

Mamoru takes on the identity of Tuxedo Mask to look for the Silver Crystal for keys to his past since he lost his memories in a car crash.

Zoisite challenges Mamoru to a duel to see who gets to keep all the Rainbow Crystals. Usagi chases after Mamoru because she is worried he's hurt from a previous battle, and ends up getting involved. Zoisite cheats and stabs Mamoru from behind, and causes the building to start collapsing on them.

The two run into an elevator, but Zoisite lights a fire from above. Usagi knows that unless she transforms, they'll die, but then Mamoru will know she's Sailor Moon.
